Describe your educational background. In Argentina, architectural careers usually last about six years, and, like many other architecture schools, the University of Morón culminates its academic program by presenting a thesis, which took two additional years. What distinguishes this university, however, is its thesis modality, where each student not only designs and builds a functional building but also manages the whole process and then donates it to a needy community within our country. Although it adds additional years of studies, this modality strengthens the technique and skills of future architects.

How did you become interested in architecture? I have always felt a deep fascination for expressions of art and design. Observing how design gestures or intentions are applied to objects as simple as a chair and to more complex elements such as a car fills me with inspiration and curiosity. This passion led me to consider that a career in architecture would be the ideal path to acquire the tools and knowledge necessary to approach and understand these creative challenges. I also participated in many drawing contests during my teenage years, winning many of them and even competing nationally.

Was there a particular moment when you knew architecture was your destiny? I was always immersed in architecture, and even though none were architects, my family dedicated their lives to building houses.

What aspect of your profession do you enjoy most? Seeing ideas materialize.

Proudest moment? Graduating was a significant accomplishment. On my way to college graduation, the loss of my father in my first year of college was a considerable challenge. However, our family unit was instrumental in getting through that difficult time and moving forward. This bond was important during the long nights of studying and celebrating each small triumph toward academic success. Looking back, I appreciate even more the power of perseverance and family solidarity that helped me overcome obstacles and achieve my educational objectives.

Dream project? Design and build my own home.

Describe your family. Any good sibling stories? My immediate family consists of my wife, Sofia, and our rescue dog, Pampa. In addition, I have two brothers, and we are triplets, a rarity that has always been a source of curiosity for those who know us. One of my brothers, a nuclear engineer, is working on his PhD at the University of Pennsylvania. My other brother, an aeronautical engineer, has taken his talents to Australia. Despite the distances that separate us, our bond is undeniable. This connection we share was forged in our upbringing by our parents, who taught us the value of family and the importance of staying together, no matter the distance.

Free time activities? Playing drums, soccer, tennis, sailing, hiking, camping, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

You’ve won the lottery. How would you spend your time? I would travel the world and explore new cultures, immerse myself in unique experiences and learn from the diversity our planet has to offer.

If you were granted one wish, what would that be? I would ask for time to pass more slowly. Then, I would have the opportunity to enjoy every moment even more, have more experiences, and treasure every moment without haste or worry.

What is your favorite memory? My childhood, it was always so much fun to have two brothers of the same age to play with.

Favorite movie genre? Psychological and sci-fi movies.

It is your last day on earth. How will you spend your time? Enjoying time with my family.

What is something you do when you are looking to relax? Listen to music.

Dream vacation? Motorhome travel across a continent.

Favorite movie? Arrival

Fireplace or bonfire? Bonfire

Beach or mountains? Mountains
