Drewett Works wins three Merit Awards at the 62nd Annual Gold Nugget Awards 2025, one of the design/build industry’s most prestigious events.
Celebrating the best in architectural design, planning and development, the Gold Nugget Awards pay homage to artful design, building, development and site planning, setting a standard for innovation worldwide. This year, 695 entries were judged in more than 50 categories. The winners were announced at The Westin Anaheim Resort on June 11.
Drewett Works received Awards of Merit for these three Paradise Valley, Arizona, projects:
Jade at Crown Canyon, an ultra-luxury residence in a private mountainside community, won Best One-of-a-Kind Home. Its distinctive Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired triangular form and 19-foot ceilings that ascend to 24 feet make this custom high-end home a true work of art.
Onyx at Crown Canyon, which is located in the same exclusive canyon as Jade, received the Best Custom Home 5,000-7,500 Sq Ft award. The mid-century modern residence is carved into the craggy hillside and features a long, sloping roof that floats above a 104-foot-long covered patio. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer panoramic views of the surrounding canyon.
Moody Modern won Best Indoor/Outdoor Lifestyle for a Home. Designed for the desert climate, this custom hillside residence has deep overhangs that shade some sitting areas while others are bathed in sunlight. A negative-edge pool with an integrated spa, a bocce court, two fire features and a barbecue area make this a serene and much-used space.
