Drewett Works’ project, Lakeside Haven, was showcased in ICONIC LIFE‘s June 2026 Home edition for its contemporary Lake Havasu luxury home, a residence that brings modern architecture, refined interiors and seamless indoor-outdoor living to one of Arizona’s premier waterfront communities.
Located in Riviera Lake Havasu, the home demonstrates how intentional design can maximize a narrow homesite while embracing spectacular lake and mountain views. The story, “Lakeside Living,” highlights the collaboration between Drewett Works, Mountain Desert Development and Ownby Design to create a modern waterfront home that balances striking aesthetics with everyday functionality.
Every element—from the elevated pool and purposefully designed outdoor living spaces to expansive sliding glass doors—was carefully planned to make the home feel open, connected and highly livable.
As architect C.P. Drewett explains, “When you have limited space, it is really important to prioritize it,” a philosophy reflected throughout the home’s architecture and outdoor spaces.
The article also explores the carefully curated interiors, where natural limestone, durable materials and custom furnishings reinforce the home’s clean architectural lines while providing comfort for lakeside living. According to developer Scott Ward, of Ward Development, the project introduced “a desert, contemporary look to Lake Havasu that really hadn’t ever been done before,” helping inspire a new architectural direction within the community.
